Sydney Paragliding was the first professional school in the Sydney area specialising in paragliding, and the longest running paragliding school in Australia. We are dedicated to the sport of paragliding and to looking after all your paragliding requirements now and into the future. We operate from the world famous Bald Hill, Stanwell Park, Australia’s best coastal flying site and just one hour south of Sydney.

Greg Hurst is the Chief Flight Instructor for Sydney Paragliding. In the 1970s Greg was a physical education teacher and represented Australia in whitewater and slalom kayak and canoeing.  In the 80s he became a pioneer of the Australian and international fitness industry and was a founder of Australian Fitness Network, Australian Institute of Fitness, Les Mills International and Fitness Australia. He received federal and international honours for his contribution in developing and progressing the worldwide fitness movement and his work as a director and President of leading agencies.

Since focussing on his passion of paragliding since 2010 Greg has run courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced pilots. Hundreds have enjoyed developing their paragliding experience whether on an initial tandem flight experience, learning to fly, cross-country safaris or SIV manoeuvres. Greg is joined by a talented team of qualified tandem pilots and instructors to offer a range of paragliding services.
