Sydney Paragliding was the First professional school in the Sydney area specialising in paragliding. We are dedicated to the sport of paragliding and to looking after all your paragliding requirements now and into the future. We operate from the famous Bald Hill, Stanwell Park, Australia’s best coastal flying site and just one hour south of Sydney.

  • These terms and conditions apply to all of our courses and equipment sales, please read carefully before enrolling, ordering and paying.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, no refunds are given on our courses, vouchers or deposits.
  • They are transferable, if prior arrangement has been made.
  • All prices quoted are GST Inclusive. Products exported to international clients are GST exempt.
  • For discounts and discounted items, all amounts due must be paid 7 days in advance to qualify for the discount.
  • Courses booked, need a $500 deposit to secure your place.
  • Tandem Paragliding Flights, and the Introductory Course take in the first part of a license course.
  • We are conservative in our training programs, only doing tandem paragliding flights and high flights in good conditions, when the air is smooth and predictable for the student pilot.
  • We rely on good weather conditions for the safe progression of an individuals flight training. The Instructors decision to fly or not is final.
  • Paragliding is a weather dependent activity. If it’s cancelled due to bad weather, you can arrange to complete the activity at another time.
  • If you have uncompleted days of training, or you need more days to complete a license course, you’ll need to complete the extra days within 90 days, otherwise extra charges will apply.
  • Paragliding is inherently a risky activity, and your safety is our main concern.
  • Our courses do not cover any accident insurance, we recommend travellers insurance, it covers Paragliding.
  • A waiver form must be signed prior to undertaking any course or tandem flight.
  • To be issued an HGFA International License, you need to become a full or short term member of the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia.
  • This gives you $10,000,000 public liability insurance. You need this cover to legally fly in Australia.
  • To fly Paragliders or do Tandem Paragliding Flights, you’ll need the same fitness level as for driving a car.
  • Minimum age to fly is 14 years, (with parents consent)
  • The maximum weight for Paragliding Students is 120kg, and 100kg for Tandem Paragliding Flights.
